# Earnie for CISOs

> The standing record, not a scramble: estate posture and versioned evidence, ready before the question lands.

You never run a scan. You consume the record.

## "Can You Show Me Our Posture, Today, in Writing?"

[All Projects](/en/latest/earnie/using-earnie/all-projects) gives you estate-wide posture at a glance, ranked, with `—`, `not scanned`, and a real zero always kept distinct, so a green estate is never a guess dressed up as one. A failed posture request shows **Could not load project posture** with a Retry, it's never presented as an empty, clean estate.

## Evidence, Versioned and Never Edited

From a project's Dashboard, an SBOM, a CBOM, an [Export-control evidence report](/en/latest/earnie/evidence/exporting-sboms#the-export-control-evidence-report), or the [audit log](/en/latest/earnie/evidence/audit-log) behind any of them, are all a snapshot away. A snapshot is immutable once generated, if the inventory changes, Earnie generates a new one rather than editing the old, so a document you sent out last quarter still says exactly what it said then.
