Requesting Features

To submit a feature request, simply describe what you want by submitting a ticket through our Support Portal. There’s no need for a specific format or template, just explain what feature or improvement you’d like to see.

Contributing to Our Tools

We highly encourage community contributions to our open-source tools! If there’s a feature you’d like to see, the best way to make it happen is to contribute it yourself. To contribute to a SCANOSS tool:
  1. Navigate to the SCANOSS GitHub organisation and find the repository for the tool you want to contribute to.
  2. Read the CONTRIBUTING.md file in that repository, it contains everything you need to know about the contribution process.
Every repository may have slightly different contribution guidelines, so make sure to read the CONTRIBUTING.md for the specific tool you’re working on.

Whether you’ve found a typo, identified unclear instructions, or have ideas for new content, we welcome your contributions.
